Morning Well it's Monday, I'm about to have a 2 hour driving lesson..blergh. I am not a fan of driving full stop so driving for two hours is pure hell to me. But in better news I should be off to Paris tomorrow with The Fella. I've packed my bag badly and am travelling a bit light. I've got camera, t-shirts and straighteners.. No make up due to customs and no deodorant...This could get interesting! I couldn't sleep last night, Mum made me a coffee at 9 so it kept me up for ages. So to combat this I listened to my ipod. Smiths, Cure & Bombay Bicycle Club. Which did keep me amused. I also tweeted a lot and talked to a few of my friends on there. I feel very tired now and my head hurts. I need to get dressed soon but can't really be that bothered would much rather go back to bed. On the upside my hair looks pretty damn good. All I want to do at the moment is go down to Old Leigh and sit outside the Crooked Billet at night & look at the moon and the lights from Kent. It's pretty there.
1. The smell of freshly baked (vegan) cupcakes 2. Being with the Fella 3. Good hair days 4. A pair of jeans that make your bum look brilliant 5. Laughing at anything and everything
Well today I went into university for all of about err an hour, to hand in some coursework which I PASSED! I enjoy going into uni for a short amount of time because it feels like I've done something with my day but I get home at a nice time, I can listen to music and see my Mum.
But today has been productive, I bought some Slow Club tickets for June which I'm really excited about. I really enjoyed the first time I saw them and since then I've been listening to them more, so seeing them again will be great. The Fella introduced me to them and I'm really pleased he did, they're amazing! My girl crush on Rebecca is growing daily due to finding her on twitter. If you've never heard Slow Club, I posted a video of one of my favourite songs of theirs above.
Life is good, I can't complain about a thing. I'm in love and the sun is shining. I found out I'm not as poor as I thought I was. I've been listening to good music and wearing nice clothes. Lost some weight and eating healthily. My bedroom is tidy for once and I got my Mum a bit of a late Mother's Day present. Which I have named a Mother's Yesterday present.
Finally I'm going to Paris next week, wow that has come around seriously quickly. I'm looking forward to it a lot and I can't wait to get away from England for a bit, even if it only is for two days. Anytime away from Essex is good. Not that I don't like Essex but I know there's a lot more out there in the big wide world.
It's a lovely Sunday morning and I'm in my pj's with my wavy hair. I'm feeling a bit tired and a little worse for wear. I'm on trusty old youtube watching Slow Club videos and I found Rebecca on twitter. WIN. I love her a bit. Wait, I love her a lot.
I've had a lovely week. I finished my placement and got all my stuff signed off for it and to celebrate on my last shift I brought in a dozen Krispy Kremes. Okay okay yes, I did eat 3 and could have managed a fourth but alas I don't want my co-workers to find out how large my appetite can be. My week has also been amazing because I saw my Fella (I love him) and we watched (500) days of summer. One of my favourite films. And he played acoustic guitar to me, it was rather wonderful. Thinking about it makes me smile.
This week I've got to knuckle down and finish my presentation for university. Other than that I've got lots of time off. I think I will do some work later. But for now I will listen to some music and eat some toast.
I'll finish on this lyric, isn't it grand?
I like the way that our arguments stop when we fall asleep And the way that body feels when it's wrapped around me
