Last night was movie night, I'd had my eye on this film for a while after seeing it in the shops. I've always been interested in Bettie Page but didn't know much about her life and how she became a pin up/ fetish model. The film was a bio-pic, mostly in black and white but with some use of colour in the Miami scenes. Gretchen Mol played a convincing Bettie Page from her southern-church-going roots to nude modelling career.
The hair, make up and costumes in this film were perfectly done. It's a good film to watch if you're interested in the life of Bettie Page but also if you love vintage styling.
