My Knitting News

I started knitting this scarf a little while ago, just as a little project to knit while I was watching telly, especially the X Factor and Great British Bake Off (when it was on).  I really love watching telly and knitting during makes me feel pro-active and like I'm doing something creative.
I was knitting it at uni and one of my friends liked it so much she said she'd buy it from me. My first proper sale, I was thrilled!
I thought I'd take a few pictures of it to share with you before it goes off to its new home.

  5. Oh I've been watching the Great British Bake Off on iplayer! It's inspiring even as a vegan! I sew or embroider as I watch things! It does make me feel less guilty than if I were just sitting there daft! Well done on the knitting, I inherited my granny's needles but have far too many projects on the go right now to even attempt it! ha! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Zoë x

  6. Hello! :) I need to improve my sewing, I can hand sew very basically but I want to learn how to use a machine better!
Ohh you're vegan! My boyfriend used to be vegan :) There's some vegan cupcake recipes from Lola's cupcakes new book, there's only two but if you'd like them I'll email them to you :)
Have a great weekend too :)

  7. Hello Ellie! This is my first time viewing your blog, and I love it! :) I can't wait to try those Feta, Cheddar and Spinach muffins! I noticed that you mentioned you sell your knitted items on etsy....do you take requests? I found a scarf that I am dying to have, but I do not knit. If I were to provide you with the pattern and all of the necessary details, could you make the scarf for me to purchase from you?! I tried to find your email address instead of posting about this but was unable to find it. I will check back on your blog to see how you feel about this proposition. Have a good one! :)
