I started knitting this scarf a little while ago, just as a little project to knit while I was watching telly, especially the X Factor and Great British Bake Off (when it was on). I really love watching telly and knitting during makes me feel pro-active and like I'm doing something creative.
I was knitting it at uni and one of my friends liked it so much she said she'd buy it from me. My first proper sale, I was thrilled!
I thought I'd take a few pictures of it to share with you before it goes off to its new home.

Oh wow - it's lush!! And I especially appreciate your love of the GBBO - what an amazing show that was :) x
ReplyDeleteHello, Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteHave you been watching the masterclasses? So good!

that looks so cute and comfy! I use to knit but I wasn't too good at it. Though recently I've been considering taking it up again.
ReplyDeleteHi Leanna, Thanks very much! You could always try again, when I get stuck I youtube videos of knitting to help me out :) x
ReplyDeleteOh I've been watching the Great British Bake Off on iplayer! It's inspiring even as a vegan! I sew or embroider as I watch things! It does make me feel less guilty than if I were just sitting there daft! Well done on the knitting, I inherited my granny's needles but have far too many projects on the go right now to even attempt it! ha! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Zoë x
ReplyDeleteHello! :) I need to improve my sewing, I can hand sew very basically but I want to learn how to use a machine better!
ReplyDeleteOhh you're vegan! My boyfriend used to be vegan :) There's some vegan cupcake recipes from Lola's cupcakes new book, there's only two but if you'd like them I'll email them to you :)
Have a great weekend too :)

Hello Ellie! This is my first time viewing your blog, and I love it! :) I can't wait to try those Feta, Cheddar and Spinach muffins! I noticed that you mentioned you sell your knitted items on etsy....do you take requests? I found a scarf that I am dying to have, but I do not knit. If I were to provide you with the pattern and all of the necessary details, could you make the scarf for me to purchase from you?! I tried to find your email address instead of posting about this but was unable to find it. I will check back on your blog to see how you feel about this proposition. Have a good one! :)
ReplyDeleteHello! If you send the details to me at ellie.pullen@live.co.uk I can have a look and see if I can do that for you :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like my blog!!
Have a lovely evening :)

This is a really sweet scarf. I wish that I could knit too. Also the butternut squash recipe made me hungry just looking at it. Glad I stumbled onto your blog.
