So as you can tell from the pictures, James and I went to Reading Festival. We had early bird tickets so got there on Wednesday night, thank god we did because it tipped down Thursday and we were all warm snuggled up in our tent no having to worry about going out! Anyway we had a lovely time and saw some amazing bands! Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes were the best by far, I would love to see them again. 

Camping Pod Holiday!

So James and I had a little stay-cation a few weeks ago. We stayed up in the Lake District in a camping pod. We were so far north the next place on the sign was Scotland, the drive took about six hours but was lots of fun because James is such good company and service stations now have Starbucks. The camp we stayed at was lovely but there was literally nothing nearby. The campsite had a little shop but other than that it was a complete get away from normal life. 

 The weather was terrible while we were there so I was pretty chuffed our pod had electricity and heating. It meant we could watch films on James's laptop and keep nice and cosy. We had one sunny day which we used well by having a bbq and spending the day in sun. I really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend a camping pod to anyone who likes camping but also likes their home comforts.

First attempt at piping buttercream. I used the round nozzle so it looks a bit weird. But Hey ho will be trying the other nozzles soon. The cupcakes were chocolate with a vanilla buttercream!
